What Hosting Service Is Reliable Besides Godaddy?
I am looking for a reliable hosting service. Everyone seems to recommend godaddy but even the economy plan is more space than i need at $4. 99 a month. Is there a less expensive but very reliable hosting servince? I really only need a 1 page website.

I do not recommend godaddy for web hosting. For domain registration sure but it is worth it to look beyond them for your other needs. If you are only looking to host a 1 page website with a budget less than $4. 99 a month consider HostMonster or HostUpon. HostMonster has a special promo link for $3. 95 a month ($2 off per month regular pricing) http://www. castironhostingreview. com/hos…
HostUpon you can get $50 off your signup with the coupon code HPR50
On today’s market there are literally thousands of web hosting providers. Choosing a web host is not so easy task. Once committed to one, it will become very difficult to move your business elsewhere – not to mention the damage that can be done to your business if you make the wrong choice. This makes it very important to “get it right the first time”. Find out as much as you can about your prospective web host before making any decisions.
The perfect web hosting directory (I use it myself) to get an idea of what web hosting companies are the most popular, the most successful, or even the most affordable is http://www. web-host-rankings. com
This web hosting directory incorporates in-depth research, first-hand experience, and analysis of comprehensive consumer reviews to rank your top web hosting options.
Also, make sure you get the best deals (extremely important if you are on a budget). You can find web hosting coupons and promo codes that will save you a lot of money when you purchase your web hosting package, the website is http://www. mywebhostingcoupons. com
And finally, while doing your research, make sure that you are using credible websites, be on the look out for scams.
Good luck,
Kyle
I recommend 1&1 Internet at $3. 99/month for most applications.
I used to like GoDaddy, but their Control Panel is an incomprehensible mess and they endlessly try to up-sell you stuff you don’t need.
If you only have a 1-page website, then I assume it is a “vanity” site and not for a business. In other words, a 1-page site is not considered by search engines to be “rich”, and your ranking with search engines will be at the absolute end of the pack.
Another solution may be to spend nothing. Most ISPs offer free web page hosting in return for your paying them an exorbitant amount of money for Internet service. Why not use the free web hosting they offer you? (P. S. Search engines will also rank you poorly if you do this. . . )
Many more out there. Lunarpages, bluehost, fatcow. While many shared hosting services are pretty much same in terms of service levels, some are offering very low price, you should really look into their service level. Before commit to any of them, call their customer support line and see how their support staff supports you. Shot them an email and see how soon you get response. Many times, do not order from service provider directly, instead you can go to a site promoting a hosting service. Sites aka affiliates (
