I have the new Real Player (version 11. 0. 
and now ffmpeg can not convert your FLV files (like me) from youtube and other things. However, FLV files older I was able to convert from the earlier version of RealPlayer, but for some reason does not make new ones. Why is this so? What can I do to make these FLV files?
