I have a fairly large collection of videos that I be shot, should be made available over the Internet. Do we want to minimize the consumption of bandwidth, but at the same time I offer good quality. I am good with the video size 320×240, but would rather not be smaller than the walk. I do not know how Flash video codec, and prefer something more standard in the industry, such as MPEG4. Ffmpeg I am looking for very specific information about the Bitrate, Video and audio codec, container, etc. I have Linux available, so I can use mencoder, so I'm looking for good quality, especially for the transfer (not live), so I order special options for the convergence of video and audio coding sequences, etc. What is the best combination of quality, file size usage and availability (ie, all users can watch the video?) ? Delivery method is not so important, I can only give the video link, or I need a Flash Player.

Problems with video playback after converting FLV to AVI file. Help please!?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009I was sure. Super FLV Converter files with the following settings: Output Container – AVI
Video Codec – MP4
Audio – Mp3
ffmpeg
However, when I try on my progressive-scan DVD the video will not play play. I've done it already and it worked well, but I have problems. Does play the videos on my computer, but my DVD player. I've got the data with Nero Does anyone have an idea, taken up? Should I MEncoder instead? Thanks for your help.

I need a free program that will be effective (and is not an attempt that will leave a watermark in the middle of the screen.
I know there are several for Linux (like ffmpeg and MEncoder), but none of them work, and VLC on Ubuntu refuses to play me. FLV files. (That's why I want to. MPG4 format.)
[The error message is somewhat in the sense of "Can not load / UNDP support." Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it - what the ending "UNDP"?]

Sunday, September 27th, 2009I'm trying to put a couple of audio files into a video file with command line tools. . . .
for example. . .
0 seconds Audio1. mp3
12 seconds audio2. mp3
45 seconds Audio3. mp3
where the audio files overlap each other. . . .
I could not command-line tool that this dose. . . So what I did, join MP3 files from mp3wrap. exe and then mux with video file with MEncoder. exe. . . but that's not exactly what I need. . . mp3wrap caz mp3 files do not match. . . only it connects, finally!
And by the way, do u what to call it? is the mixing or muxing or what?

Problems using MEncoder to PS3 streaming video?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009Recently I downloaded PS3 media server for transcoding and streaming video on my PS3. I'm the type of file size that I expected to see in the stream of curious to know that the file is properly encoded.
(Example: I have a 1 46GB XviD Video. 5 1 surround sound AC3 – the greater the output file when transcoded into MPEG4 PS?)
I ask because I tried today with this program because PS3 tells me that the video is not supported, I began to transcoding and video work to fly, but began to stutter [my WiFi connection is slow through the distance between the router and PS3 stories about 3]. So I thought, I want a "copy" method, and the encoded video on the DVD and you play when you're done.
About 3rd 1 GB of data was to be heard, if I thought something was wrong, I could not imagine the duplicate files to the size was wrong to believe that the sensible?
